Clarence River Expedition. Raft or kayak the 200km of scenic grade 2-3 whitewater, through spectacular gorges and between mountain ranges.
Early February 2010
Pukaki River Release. Annual Rafting event, Grade 3. Minimum age requirement: 13+.
On demand
Grade 2 Kayaking Certification.
Raft skills training for private rafters.
Our varied programmes are developed to meet specific requirements - activities covered, date and length of programme, accommodation options. In addition Peel Forest OPC also offers set courses and activities, on demand, subject to minimum numbers:
- Rock & Bush
- 3 day Grade 2 Rafting
- 3 day Grade 2 Kayak Certificate course
From 2006, unit standards for Outdoor Recreation are available in association with Aoraki Polytechnic, building towards Outdoor Leadership Awards. Standards available in the following subjects:
- kayak, bush, adventure based learning, rafting, navigation
